Isla Blanca Park is our top pick as it offers several options for visitors looking to launch a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle boards in the bay or gulf, including the Children's Beach next to the boat ramp, Dolphin Cove beach in the ship channel, and the beach along the gulf.  Aside from having the most options, Isla Blanca Park also offers visitors with the best amenities including plenty of parking, showers, restrooms, grills, shade, a jetties, and a bait shop.

Please watch out for oysters/rocks in the bay and stingrays in the bay / surf when walking your vessel into the water.  It is also important to monitor the weather and tides prior to launching.  Weather conditions to monitor in the summer are isolated thunderstorms, and cold fronts in the fall/winter/spring.
